Sore Thoat Dizzy -Dizziness, headaches, shaky, and sore throat. What could these be ...
I've had a sore throat for two weeks. The soreness and trouble swallowing begins as soon as I wake up in the morning (and sometimes in the middle of the night). Feel shaky and dizzy.
For many nights I've had to make myself a cup of tea before going back to bed. I've been to the doctor and strep throat was ruled out by a swab. I thought it may have been caused by lack of humidity in my home but I installed a new humidifier and the condensation on my windows indicates my house is more than adequately humidified. Still....the sore throat persists. What is it? I've been feeling so lethargic for two weeks. I can't even stay awake past 8:00 p.m. and my muscles ache. How can I make it go away? What is causing this pain...
Acetaminophen or ibuprofen may help control the pain.
For adults, if your nose is plugged, nasal sprays such as Afrin may be used for two to three days to prevent mouth breathing. It is NOT a good idea to use these products for more than a couple of days; you may become dependent on them.
